Great old mortgage/property transfer document dealing with property in Philadelphia, PA. Would make a great gift for a special occasion or keep for yourself!
Parties appear to be a land deal between Peter Whiteside and Francis Knox. Also noted on the indentured document are Benjamin Paschall and a Shoemaker. Property was on the east side of Frony Street and Penn Street on the west side. Knox paid Whiteside 550 pounds for the land. A red wax seal by the officials signing are there as well and an embossed seal attached to the back of the document as well.
The document is not in a frame. Comes in an older clear plastic protective cover. The document wording is still quite legible. Some weathering on the left and white sides probably from folding at one time. A couple of small holes in places. Marks from previous folding show in document.
The Indenture Document is 13.5" tall, by 25" across. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
