Here is a nice pair of Antique Engravings of a Fox Hunt Scene for your buying consideration. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself!

These Antique Engravings were done by Edward Bell. Printed by George Morland. Says "London, Published May 4 1801 by E. Bell No. 45 Islington Read near Sadlers Wells".

The engravings are in very nice condition. The first engraving is entitled, " Fox Hunting, The Check". The second one is "Fox Hunting, Going into Cover". Great coloring and details to the engravings. Some slight browning to the paper. Certainly old paper, but cannot speak to the actual age of these pieces.

Definitely an engraving. You can see the impressed perimeter around the whole piece. Do no see any foxing or brown spotting going on within the engraving. No watermarks, tears, or repairs. Professionally framed and matted.

The engraving are framed in gold colored frames embossed with flowers and leafing. There is a white with blue inside perimeter matting around both pieces. There is also glass over the over the engravings. The paper backing is intact on the back of the frame. The hanging wire is on the frame and the piece is sealed up from the back.

Each Framed Engraving is 14-7/8" tall, by 16.25" across, by 7/8" wide. The engraving showing thru the frame is 8-9/16" tall by 9-7/8" across. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. Don’t be shy to make an offer, we are always open to reasonable suggestions.
