Here is a very unique and well designed clock for your buying consideration. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself!
This is a project clock that is in not running condition. Check out the great etchings on the beveled glass on the sides of the case. The front glass is beveled along the edge and has etched in designs at the top. We see no cracks or blistering to the glass.
The clock was made by Koma of West Germany, so manufactured sometime after WWII.
The clock case has a gold colored lacquered finish to it. Some moderate finish loss. The rear door is still securely attached to the case by the hinges.
The pendulum and suspension spring are with the clock. Nice looking 3 ball pendulum on the clock. The wind spring feels sound when keyed. The clock is not in running condition.
The clock is approximately 4.75" across, by 7.25" tall, by 3-5/8" wide. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
As can be expected when dealing with a vintage clock, some adjustments may be needed after shipping to get the clock re-running correctly again as they can be very delicate. If you have not had experience with old mechanical clocks before, I would suggest you steer clear. One really needs to have the patience, and skill to work with these great works of art. They are not our modern plug in and go, or change the battery clocks. Please ask any questions relating to this matter, before you decide to purchase it.
Please check out our other Timeless Tokens store listings as we are regularly adding new items. We specialize in antique and vintage artwork, collectibles, musical instruments, clocks/watches, and decorative boxes. Thanks for your business. (F17026).
