Nice black and white photos from WWII showing scenes from Tarawa Island in the Pacific Theatre. The pictures shows some bending and crinkling from storage over the years. Images still look pretty good.
8 pictures in total. Some ink printed numbering on the back of some of the pictures, others show numbering in the corners within the photos. Also some papers regarding the history printed from the internet that also came with the photos.
The WWII Tarawa Island Battle Pictures are approximately 7-3/16" to 7.5" tall, by 8-7/8" to 9-1/16"across. The aerial photo of the island from the air is the largest, being 9-1/8" tall by 16.5" across.
