Here is a nice pair of matching Rose Medallion Porcelain Urns for your buying consideration. Would make a great gift or keep for yourself!
Not exactly sure when these Rose Medallion urns were issued. Probably date to the 1950s to 1960. Has a maker mark in red on the bottom.
Nice coloring and details to the urns. Asian scenes on both sides of the urn. Some finish loss to the gold colored lacquer paint on the top and the handles.
The one urn has a hairline crack from the lip of the top that is 2.75" along the lip where it emanates and terminates from and goes about 2.25" into the urn. See pics. A chip or firing imperfection on the base of the other urn. No other chips, cracks or repairs to the ceramic figures that we can ascertain. Some paint loss, most notably to the sword's scabbard. Some minor crazing to the porcelain finish. Wear and tear to the bottom of the base as as no felt on it over the years.
The Pair of Porcelain Urns are 10-5/8" tall, by 8.75" across by handles, by 6.75" wide not by handles, by 4.75" by base. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. Don’t be shy to make an offer, we are always open to reasonable suggestions.
