Here is a great Edna Hibel Ltd. Ed. Print for your buying consideration. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep it for yourself!
Before we get to describing this piece, we wanted to let you know that we have some other great pieces of artwork that we have not listed yet in our online store that will available for sale separately soon. The artwork all came from the same avid art collector that this piece came from, whom either passed away or is downsizing. All of the artwork pieces were professionally framed and matted (Wentworth, Newman, etc.).
This artwork will be made available for sale separately in our online store. There are; a large Marc Chagall limited edition Serigraph from the Exodus portfolio, 4 Martiros Manoukian serigraphs ("Celestial Couple", "Harlequin Lullaby", "Icon", and "Cadences"), two of those pieces are artist proofs with only 30 or 40 in the edition size. We also have a Schluss limited edition serigraph entitled, "Harmony". There is also an Edna Hibel limited edition floral print.
The Hibel lithograph is in pristine condition. Beautiful Edna Hibel piece here. Nice coloring and details. Great use of blue, green pink and brown in the print. The print shows a vase with long stemmed flowers with pink blossoms. Nice detailing on the vase and a perimeter done in various colors as well. Appears there were two editions of this print, 175 in each edition. This print is 165/175 of edition #2 (in roman numerals).
The print is pencil signed and numbered. I would say this is a print/lithograph of one of her watercolor pieces. I would say that this piece was done in the 1980s, but have not been able to find an example of it yet in my search to confirm. Hibel left this world in 2014.
The lithograph is in a gold colored wood frame. Some loss of finish to the frame. There is a tan colored woven fabric matting, then a gold border around the lithograph. The backing is still securely on the back of the frame.
The framed print is 31.75" tall, by 25-3/8" across, by 1-5/16" wide. The print within the matting is 22" tall, by 16-1/8" across. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. Don’t be shy to make an offer, we are always open to reasonable suggestions.

Some information about the artist from her website;
Her web site explains that "for over 40 years, Edna Hibel has been referred to as America's best loved and most versatile artist, and best colorist. Since being commissioned by the Foundation of the U.S. National Archives in 1995 to commemorate 75 years of women receiving the universal right to vote, Hibel is now acclaimed the 'Heart and Conscience of America' when Ms. Lucy Baines Johnson, of the U.S. National Archives described her as such.
"Today Edna paints each day in her studio at home beginning early in the morning and hand enhances her original stone lithographs, serigraphs and giclee with pastels, oil paint, gold leaf, pencil, ink, conte crayon and charcoal. She travels for special exhibits to promote the Hibel Museum of Art and to join the Edna Hibel Society on overseas trips. She brings home new creations from almost every trip. She normally works in oil paint. However, she is also working in watercolors again on a limited basis since she had mastered the techniques as a young person. The Hibel Museum of Art has received a wonderful collection of watercolors from the 1930's and 1940's which confirms her master watercolor artist status. Her oil paintings are sold through the Edna Hibel Gallery, at Hibelfest events or through her corporation."
