These little guys look great with candles, but they could also be used as vases. The hole extends all the way to the bottom. They have great detail with their gold pompoms on their heads and feet. The jackets are vibrantly teal which stands out nicely against the gold. Although I was unable to identify the artist, I am quite sure they were made in California as they are signed in scroll on the bottom "Calif" and both numbered 949. There is some wear on them, areas where gold looks worn, but no overt chips or cracks (see photos)
