Fabulous wall decor in wood toned composite, popularly referred to as syroco wood.
8.5" across, 11.5" top to bottom, 5/8" at it's deepest.
This wood looked resin was developed by the Syracuse Ornamental Company, shortened to SYROCO. It was so popular that other companies began producing it as well, and marketing it under other (often similar) names. Often, they had small paper tags on their back sides, this one is no longer marked.
Great natural design of swirling flowers, sunflowers, asters and zinnias, with curling leaves giving a paisley-esche style. In the center, a frog (maybe a toad, he looks more frog-ish to us) and a gecko. This natural palette and theme resonates a 1960s bohemian hippie era, yet has a fresh modern appeal with the flower shapes.
Very lightweight, yet sturdy.
We actually have two of these, one is a bit darker than the other (this is for the darker one) and we're selling them separately, but if you're interested in both, please let us know: we do discount for multiple item purchases and we're happy to combine them to reduce shipping for you.
