These rich toned Turner floral prints were the choice for decor in the 40s.
Colors of deep reddish-brown with flowers in mostly cream, with forest green, dark brown and some shading in gray; the low bowl vases are a very dark navy blue.
The paper has a linen weave look.
Flowers included: Lily, tulip, cattails, dogwood or magnolia, possibly
The other print has daffodil, tulip, and peony or chrysanthemum.
Condition: the daffodil print has some buckling at the top of the print; this is typically an indication of water and heat at some time. The other print also has a LITTLE wrinkling, but not as much as the daffodil one. From afar? not noticeable, up close, these imperfections can be noted.
Also, the kraft paper backings are torn; this is not visible when on a wall, but we do want to point it out.
Measures 12 and 1/8" x 14 and 1/8"
We particularly like these prints used in bedrooms, or dressing rooms, we love the glamour they lend to a room. They can also be used in any other room of your home, or office, as well.
Price is for the pair of them.
