Westerns and cowboy shows like Roy Rogers, Rawhide, The Rifleman and Bonanza were the Kings of Television in the 50s and 60s, which in turn inspired lots of kids to love and yearn for a horse or pony of their own.
This pair of pony prints has the matching background color of an aqua blue teal, which contrasts nicely with the chestnut coloring of this horse and colt.
The frames are wood, and painted a creamy off white, with a worn, antiqued look finish.
The outside edge of the frames measure:
8 3/4" x 10 3/4"
while the image area measures:
7 3/4" x 9 3/4"
These are backed with kraft paper (one has a small tear in it) and have glass fronts (which is why the images seem a bit blurred, taken through the glass).
The prints themselves are in excellent condition: the colors are vivid and bright. There is a signature in the bottom corner of each one: it has the shape and look of an old west cattle brand.
Price is for the set of two.
