At nearly 100 years old, this little wall hanging's colors are remarkably vivid and true.
Rich colors of red, yellow, celadon, azure, sky, lilac and blush on a black background with gold gilt trim on the artwork as well as on the wood frame. The poem is centered with hollyhocks and other flowers around it, with a sundial centered underneath it.
Measures 4.5” across by 6.5” top to bottom and .5” deep.
It reads:
Bless Your Heart
Love you, Mother? Bless your heart.
I just wish that I could start
Putting into words for you
All the love that thrills me through;
All the wishes big and fine,
I would wish you, Mother mine.
Do I love you, Mother? You?
Bless your heart, you know I do.
