Here's a really cool swingin' sixties reversible vest designed for him, but wearable by her, if she wants. It has a gorgeous, classic wool plaid on one side, while the other is a soft suede cloth in rich harvest gold. The back liner is the same on both sides: a slick gold background with a black batik-y drizzle-y look print.
It's like getting two vests for the price of one!
Each side has welt pockets, and yes, they actually are pockets!
The plaid side is a wool or wool blend, in colors of gold with teal and rust; the napped gold side feels like a cotton suede cloth or deep flannel, it's soft, not scratchy at all.
from the top of the underarm seam to the top of opposite underarm seam: 21" (42" chest)
21.25" long from center back of the neck to the hem
shoulder seams: 3" long
underarm seam to hem: 9 and 3/4"
clean, ready to wear.
only issue of note: the buttons are difficult to button (they're placed back to back, so not very flexible.)
In excellent condition, ready to wear.
These look fantastic worn over t-shirts, and give a professorial look when worn with a tailored white shirt! And again, this is designed as a menswear vest, however it can easily be worn by girls, too.
