1930s Vintage Kokomo Little Lady Toy Metal Electric Stove Depression Green
From an estate in the midwest, this is a tiny version of an oven and stove top appliance in the classic “depression green” color combined with creamy yellow-white enamel. The legs are shiny, chrome look metal.
It is electric, with tiny coils that were intended to heat up. We have not tried to plug this in to see if it does heat up, or not; the cord needs to be replaced.
Having said that, though, there are collectors that seek these tiny appliances; some refer to them as salesman samples, however the coil construction would not have translated to a larger full size version; thus, we feel it was intended as a toy only.
Condition wise, the stove top shows wear as this did heat up at one time, the cord needs to be replaced; but the oven door opens, and it does present well overall, it makes a fabulous display piece!
The measurements are:
9 and 3/4” across by 5 and 1/2” deep (including the handle of the oven) by 7 and 3/4” high
This weighs 2#, 5.7 oz without packaging.
