This time of year we particularly love to cook up some yummy, hearty home made soups, and take it with us to work...in a thermos! And you can, too!
This one from the 60s is by the King of Thermoses: Aladdin.
The exterior is plastic, the interior core of course is glass.
This one has a screw on lid, with a handle built in, to use as a cup, and an extra "bowl" that slips over the top, inner lid, and under the exterior cup lid. So clever!
3 1/2" across the top
widening to 4 1/8" across the bottom
This also has a stylized modern knight sort of logo on it's side.
On the bottom of the thermos:
Aladdin's Dura-Clad thermos bottle NO. 2650A
No. 243 cup
No. 31 stopper
No. 032C filler
Capacity approximately one U.S. Quart
Mfd by Aladdin Industries, Inc, Nashville, Tenn, 37210 U.S.A.
This is in excellent condition, freshly washed, ready to keep your beverage cold, or your soup hot!
Terrific for autumn picnics, too: hiking through the trees changing color...stop to have a picnic along the way...romantic and practical at the same time!
