These rayon women's trousers have double tucked fronts, and double darted backs for a nice, smooth, comfortable fit.
They are by Banana Republic, and were made in the early 1990s when there was a trend to wear high waisted wide legged pants reminiscent of the 1940s.
The color is a sage green, some call it a green-gray. It is gorgeous worn with cream, or black, or a bit more fun worn with pink, yellow or even lilac.
These are labeled as size 8, with measurements of:
the waistband is 1.5" wide
the inseam is 28.5"
the out seam (measured from under the waistband) is 39"
each leg is 22" around
and, the hip (measured as 10" down from the bottom of the waistband) is 45"
This has a side zip by YKK with a metal pull and nylon teeth.
These were made in Hong Kong.
They have been freshly dry-cleaned, and they are in excellent condition, ready to wear.
These are perfect to wear just about anywhere: the office, class, church, the movies, for dinner, for a weekend of antiquing, or just to take a stroll in the park. We prefer them worn with flats or loafers, but are fantastic worn with a low kitten heel (or even higher heel), too.
