We love this adorable vintage 60s woven knit button-front cardigan sweater with art-deco inspired design elements of geometric squares and lines, and a little bit longer length.
The fall color palette includes a chocolate brown back; the front is brown and off-white ivory, with tiny turquoise, red, gold, yellow pink and green in a plaid grid like design.
This has a blue and white union label.
This can be worn open, or buttoned, and works for 40" to 46" bust.
26" long, which hits just about or below hip level, so, it's kind of a jacket or blazer length, rather than a shorter sweater length.
16" shoulder point to shoulder point.
The shoulder seam is reinforced with seam tape, and measures 4.5".
sleeve length: 19.5" long: we like to wear this length pushed up to just below the elbow.
There are no fiber labels on this, and all the seams are closely serge finished, so there isn't enough to snip for a burn test. Having said, that, it is definitely a synthetic. It has a "slippery" hand similar to some polyester knits, some nylon knits, and some acrylic knits we've handled in the past, or, it could be a blend.
We apologize that we can't be more accurate for the fiber assessment, however, we would hate to snip into the seam and accidentally cause a run in this, especially since it's in such excellent condition.
Freshly dry-cleaned, ready to wear, and as mentioned, excellent condition.
perfect for chilly office wear, for your back to school wardrobe, or just as cozy to wear to a film on a Friday night date night..
