lined in same fabric as the flip tie on the front of the dress, which is an off-white rayon with an abstract geometric lined novelty print in green, tan and black.
up to 52" bust
24.25" neck point to sleeve hem
17" wide bell sleeve hem
60" sweep of hem
This is very simply designed, in terms of design lines and seaming: it only has a center back seam, underarm seams, neck point/shoulder/sleeve seams, and bust darts down from the shoulder seam. This provides a very loose fit, and easily slips over the dress'es shoulders.
Fabric: slubbed, heavy mid-weight. Cotton or cotton blend possibly.
The lining/accent fabric feels like smooth rayon.
The fabrications (especially the rayon) suggest 1940s vintage, the slightly dropped waistline is indicative of the late 1930s. Since it was custom made, perhaps the client was fond of the silhouette, and had this made at a later time.
Price is for all three pieces together.
