"Faculty Bowling League Champs 63-64"
This trophy is not as fancy as the other one we have currently available, but it is a classic, and authentically dated to the 60s.
Generally speaking, we LOVE vintage bowling trophies, and back in the 80s, they were hard to find, everyone was using them for kitschy home and office and nightclub decorations. So we are THRILLED to discover not one, but TWO fabulous Vegas-y gold and wood ones to offer here for you.
This one is 11" tall, 5 3/8" across and 3" deep. (it is the taller of the two)
It features a male bowler on the top , making his approach.
The detailing on this is neat, you can the classic convertible collar, looks like his trousers/jeans are cuffed, and his hair is nice and trim.
The trophy neck is plain dark wood (maybe walnut?) and the brass plate slides out, so this COULD be engraved on the back, if wished.
Someone was very proud of their bowling accomplishments, as this is in wonderful condition, very nicely kept (or stored away) for all these years.
