These bias cut plaid skirts were the rage in the 70s, often worn with boots and cowl neck sweaters, and a cropped, fitted jacket.
The colors are cozy winter tones of deep wine red, charcoal gray, camel, cream and taupe.
When a skirt is cut on the bias like this, it creates a very flattering line, the diagonal is very slimming, and, the fabric lays on the derriere very nicely, too.
