Super cute short-short custom-made culottes from white kettle-cloth (looks like linen but made of a more wrinkle resistant blend of cotton and polyester).

This has a faced waistline with a placket down the center front with decorative buttons. It has a side seam zipper; metal, by Coats & Clarks. There’s room at the top of the zipper for a hook and eye, but there is not one there.

This has top-stitched tucks on the front and back that act as body shapers as well as adds fullness to the leg of the shorts.

Measurements:

Around top (sits on the natural waistline, not below it): 22”

Approximate hips (8” below the top of the garment): 36” +

Inseam: 2 and 1/8”

Outer seam: 13 and 3/4”

Front seam to crotch: 13”

Back waist seam to crotch: 13 and ¾”

Around hem of leg opening: 34 and .75”

These have been freshly laundered and are ready to wear.

From the 70s, this may have been worn with red white and blue since the bicentennial was a huge influence at that time. White goes with anything, though, so this is very versatile!
