We love these lace mantillas from the 1960s: they add such a feminine touch to any well dressed woman's wardrobe. Catholic churches in the 60s were FILLED with women wearing these to cover their heads on Sundays.
Classic rectangular shape, measures: 15" x 48"
Long enough to wear around the head, and the neck.
Lovely scalloped lace edges all around.
This has no label, but feels just like a white lace scarf we sold recently; it had a fiber content of 60% acetate/40% nylon. Even though it is a synthetic, it has a nice pliable hand, it's not stiff or scratchy at all.
Condition: excellent, freshly hand laundered, laid flat to dry, ready to wear.
In certain lighting, this has a slightly dark purple-ish sheen.
