This enormous scarf has a creamy white background and gorgeous print in colors of browns, golds, rusts and chestnut of watches on chains, fobs and roping on alternating grounds of plaids and solids.
These themed scarves were particularly popular in the 80s, with almost every fashion designer manufacturing their own versions.
This still has the original tag on it: it was made in Italy for the Tie Rack in the UK; the label is called The Art of The Scarf.
Fiber: 100% polyester. It has a fringed hem.
Measures: 46" square, more of a shawl size, rather than a head scarf size, although, skillfully wrapped around the head and neck, this would be very cozy, and very dramatic.
Condition: excellent with no flaws. no odors. no spots. no stains.
Founded in 1981 by South African shoe-bar owner Roy Bishko, The Tie Rack was renowned for quality.
