We absolutely love forty-niner jackets, and here is a 1955 dated sewing pattern of the casual, boxy cut jacket with patch pockets, cuffed sleeves, wide notched collar and yoked back.
The pattern graphics are in coordinating colors of red black and gray.
The envelope is in excellent condition, the pattern uncut.
There are 9 pieces here. Instructions, too, of course.
They suggest using fabrics such as flannel, denim, poplin, linen, gingham and corduroy.
Sized small 10-12, which translates to a bust of 28 to 30. If you know how to grade patterns, you can easily enlarge this to any size, if you wish.
