Here are two matching vintage metal kitchen canisters by Decoware in bright sunny yellow on white with black accents of a flowers on branches design.
The smaller one is about 5 and 7/8" tall and is 5" across.
The sides are in amazing condition, the interior has minor darkening with a smidge of rust under the rim, it has "sugar" hand written on the bottom.
The larger one is 6 and 5/8" tall and is 6" across.
Again, the exterior sides are amazing, with only one scratch that is about 1/4" long.
The lid does have some wear evident (please see all photos).
The inside has also darkened a bit, but there is no rust evident at all, and the bottom has "Grits" hand-written on it. (we did find these in North Carolina ~)
This is a terrific floral design in fabulous eye-catching colors. These are not your typical apple or rooster design that are easy to find, but instead, a much more elegant and sophisticated graphic in a hard-to-find, highly desirable colorway.
There are more and more collectors that buy a myriad of patterns and display them all together! (see attached image)
We like to store our dog and cat treats in interesting old canisters such as these: they're also a good way to store garden seeds, or they're a great size to hold sewing and craft supplies, too.

Or of course they can be used for pastas or rice (just keep them in plastic bags), or to stash your M & M's or lifesavers.
