Here's a neat old Empeco National Can Company of New York kitchen cannister estimated to be from the 1940s.
It is an ivory painted metal canister with red lid. There is a transfer red rose with buds and green leaves on one side.
This neat container has been used and loved ~ it has some stains, some chippy worn paint and a whisper of rust here and there.
This stands 6" high, and is 4.25" across the base.
These old canisters are great for keeping kitty or dog treats, or sewing notions. It could also be a nice dry place to store seeds for your garden and would be a great addition to the decor of your potting shed out back.
There are more and more collectors that buy a myriad of patterns and display them all together! (see attached image)
We have a couple more vintage canisters that we just acquired, too ~ we'd be happy to combine to reduce shipping for you, if you wish.
