This nightgown is pretty and very feminine with lace and ruffles and flowers and sheer mesh trim.

The bodice is nylon with sheer mesh nylon top layer. This is gathered both at the top and the bottom.

There is an under-bust seam, and a waist seam.

This is approximately 23" across the front plus 17" across back for an approximate 40" bust; this is labeled 36, so they allowed for ease.

The back seam at the waist is horizontal, 30" around

This has side seams, no princess seams.

Length from underarm to waist: 7"

Length from underarm to hem: 34.5”

16" down from underarm for approximate hip of 42"

48" sweep of hem

This has a mesh nylon hem ruffle that is 3" deep with 1/2" wide lace trim; it has a pretty asymmetrical rise on the (wearer’s) left.

This has an applique flower surrounded by leaves at the center front of the bodice with two more trimming the skirt front near the hem.

This is in excellent condition. Freshly hand laundered, laid flat to dry.

We love to wear vintage slips as sleepwear more than as a slip, although this may have been intended to be a nightgown rather than a slip since it is decorated so prettily.
