Cozy plush robe in soft colors of mocha brown, cream and an aqua-ish-periwinkle shade of blue in a geometric vertical stripe print with a wide horizontal stripe at the hem. Proportionately smaller horizontal stripes edge the sleeve hems.
This has two patch pockets, and an asymmetrical wrap front that buttons to the (wearer’s) right.
Bias tape bound collar and neckline. The matching belt is stitched at the center back, so it’s still here, too!
This may be (much) earlier than our estimate of 1980s. The print design reminds us of the Southwest influence that was so popular in the 80s, but, it could be from the 60s, or possibly even earlier.
22” shoulder point to shoulder point
18” long from center back of the neck to the waist
53” long from center back of the neck to the hem
20” sleeve length (maybe indicative of intended for female rather than male wear, possibly)
13” deep arms eyes
Super soft plush; feels like all cotton, may be a blend.
We’ve seen these worn as robes, and/or as coats. The way this collar is made, it seems more suitable for outerwear, than some.
Excellent condition. Freshly laundered, ready to snuggle up in.
