This cozy thick chevron tweed men's hat is in warm shades of charcoal gray, concrete gray and dark brown.
Labeled: Medium 7 -7 1/8; there is no maker's label.
This has a hat band of the same tweed, with spory feather trim in colors of red, white and black and yellow stripes.
This has a snappy 2" brim, all the way around; it can be turned up, or down.
The band is 1" wide.
4" deep from bottom of band to top of center back seam (which has a nice, flat felled finish)
22" around the inside.
The liner has hand written "N B" in ink: this is not visible when worn.
Feels like wool, or a wool blend.
My dad wore a hat almost exactly like this in the late 60s, all through the 70s and into the 80s.
This is freshly brushed. Double deep frozen to prevent any pest possibilities. Ready to wear.
In the 80s, one of my girlfriends used to wear fedoras to clubs and restaurants all the time: she wore them well, with lots of style!
