Fabulous all-over scrolled beading with double rows of sequins for directional flair make this sculpted Juliette (also referred to as Camelot) cap a delight.
Labeled "Young Flair Milgrim" with an "ADJ M.S.C." label behind it, we estimate this to be from the 1950s.
As it is labeled "Adj" and has such an open shape, these are considered one size fits all.
It measures 9" from the front to the back point, and about
13.25" across side to side at the widest wing tip.
This comes with a 3" long black velvet tipped hat pin that will be included with the hat.
There are quite a few pin holes in the Milgrim tag located underneath at the peak of the back, we assume the wearer ran her hat pin through it, and, most importantly, this is not visible when worn, nor does it affect the sturdiness of this lovely hat.
Amazingly, the beading appears to all be intact, and the sequins are all in place as well.
This is a wonderful collectible, a beautiful display piece, and is absolutely wearable, too.
This looks particularly ravishing with a cascade of hair billowing beneath it, but looks smart with short stylish hair, as well.
