5 and 3/4" from the hem up to the top of the button
This has a label that reads:
"Advertiser's Mfg Co. Advertising Caps and Aprons Ripon, Wisc USA"
This has been freshly, carefully hand laundered, and laid over a form to dry.
This is from the estate of a gentleman who was born in 1915; it is one of three beanies that he wore as a little boy in the 1920s. The other two are (or will be soon) listed here, separately. We happily combine to reduce shipping.
While watching the 1925 film, "The Freshman" we noticed some members in the band were wearing similar beanies to this, too, confirming the family's timeline.
These were intended to be worn by boys or men of the time, but they are ADORABLE on girls/women, too!
