Sweet little turban from the late 1960s early 1970s in classic navy blue (almost black) and white with trailing tails to really disguise this to look more like a tied scarf than a hat. The style from the back, especially, lends a bit of a "sheik" or Casanova look!
The print is an abstract geometric , it has a computer-generated houndstooth look.
This measures 22.25" around the inside elastic band (no grosgrain). This is lined in white; the exterior fabric is cool to the touch and feels like polyester.
This tapers from about 5.5" in the front to only 4" in the back.
A couple of my girlfriends have worn similar hats while going through chemo treatments; they're easy to toss on, and they look great!
In terrific, ready to wear condition; we only found a smudge (about 1/2", see photo) of what looks like make-up or maybe blush on the inside elastic band: the exterior is great.
