Vintage 1960s Crocheted Daisy Green White Yellow Blanket Lap Quilt Warmer - image 1 of 8

This adorable lap blanket, or coverlet, is from the 1960s and is made of bright colors of green, white and yellow; it is the perfect size to pull over your legs or wrap around your shoulders while you’re streaming your favorite films!

In 1960 the movie “Please Don’t Eat the Daisies!” starred Doris Day who sang the fun song that says in it: “Please, please! Don’t eat the Daisies!” Daisies were one of the top fashion (and homewares) design motif at the time.

Also in the 60s, crocheting and knitting lap blankets and ponchos and shoulder bags was the favored crafty past time for many moms and grandmas.

This measures 3’ by 5’ and is in excellent, freshly laundered condition, ready to add some color to the end of your bed, or to brighten up your dorm room, or to gift to your favorite grandma!

There are no fiber labels, we assume it’s acrylic as it’s super soft!

The back side is just green and white, no yellow.

This is super lightweight, too, weighing less than a pound.
