This brilliantly colored novelty print linen hand towel features vintage and antique lamps as it’s theme; they decorate both sides on each end of the towel. There’s also a bowl of berries on each end, along with a vase of (very mod looking) flowers and a hanging framed eagle and stars with a ribbon tie at it’s top.
Colors: sunny yellow, harvest gold, turquoise blue, persimmon orange, avocado green and white with black detailing.
Measures: 14.5” x 26”
This has double turned and stitched hems on all four sides; no stamps or tags or labels on this.
These linen towels are especially good for drying and polishing clear glass or barware.
1960s vintage.
Condition: This has been laundered and has a nice soft yet crisp hand, and it is nearly perfect. When held up to the light we did find one 1/4” area where the fibers are a bit stressed: there is no hole, just stress. This is not visible under normal use circumstances.
We love making gift baskets incorporating vintage elements, for example, for a bridal shower, we love to gift vintage linens with a vintage cookbook or two and a vintage muffin tin or utensils, along with one of my favorite recipes written out, and the (fresh) ingredients to make it. Congratulations!
