This pretty cotton print of tiny blue rosebuds on white ground is vintage, but we’re uncertain as to how old. It’s one of many remnants from the estate of a seamstress who did the majority of her sewing from the 1930s all the way through the 1980s. It’s similar to some fabric she made in to pajamas, that was in the 1940s.
There are no labels on this, but it has the hand of cotton.
There is one panel, measuring 35” wide x 45” long.
This is freshly laundered and ready to be cut and sewn.
We quickly draped the red version of this on a mannequin to illustrate that there’s plenty to make a simple shift dress, but the grain is going side to side on it, rather than up and down.
Again, this is for the BLUE rosebud print, not the red.
