We acquired a group of four white all cotton nurses dresses from a theater group, all which have the same basic style lines, but each one has a variety of flaws, from this one with hardly any, to the fourth, which is a wreck, but would still make a hilarious themed costume for Halloween (or stage).
*princess seamed in front and back
*tiny left breast patch pocket
*two large front patch pockets at hips (these sometimes hid tootsie rolls... or bandaids)
*pointed sleeve hem (stitched) cuffs
Labeled: C. Lab (hand written in the back of the neckline in ink)
Monte Cloth 42
up to 50" bust
41" long from center back of the neck to the hem
18" from shoulder point to shoulder point
6" neck point to shoulder point
8" sleeve length
Condition for this one: neckline lining slight stained (not visible when worn) and very light staining at wearer's right front along the waistline.
This is the dress on the far right, with the reflector around her neck.
Do you ever go to Halloween parties in a group, with a themed costume? get three of your friends to go along, and dress as nurses from MASH, or Grey's Anatomy, or a group of prison nurses. or, of course, the classic Halloween favorite, the Sexy Nurse...wearing the buttons opened low to reveal a lacy white bra...
or, some of these may be large enough for a guy to dress as a vintage nurse, too...Sexy Male Nurse? maybe?
to complete your look: white nylons, little white head band or hat, white rubber soled shoes....stethoscopes, latex gloves. Lab coat. Some people like to squirt fake blood on their medical costumes...
it has also been suggested these could have been chambermaid, waitress and/or beautician uniforms. so, there are other possible directions to go in with these...
by the way, we also have a huge selection of wigs coming in to the shop this month, too. Be sure to come back and check them out!
This is for ONE nurse's dress only: the one on the far right in the first and last images. The other dresses, and the accessories are not included.
