This is a fabulous color block wallet of creamy white with turquoise blue, Celtic green, red, gold and hot pink stripes with zig zag stitches.
The exterior appears to be faux reptile, snake and eel were particularly popular at that time.
This measures 6 and 7/8β across by 3 and 3/4β top to bottom and about 3/4β deep when empty.
This has a fold over snapped flap on one side it opens up to a pleated pocket lined in smooth easy to clean vinyl. The other side has a smaller flap that snaps open to reveal a slide pocket for credit cards, and across from it a slide that could hold a check book or cash or notes.
This has the original paper credit card insert slipped in to one of those pockets. This suggests that this may have never been used, and, itβs in excellent condition, the striping looks fabulous, (which is usually the first place that would share wear on quilted wallets like this.
