really, this is 2 purses in one!
we love this vintage 60s tote made of natural tan burlap with embroidery in yellows, oranges and a nice deep brick red.
This has a single wide handle, and even better? it's lined with a fabulous floral print hopsack cotton in bright yellow, oranges, tones of mocha and chocolates, and a brilliant electric citrus green.
This has an asymmetrically set zippered pocket, nice and roomy about 9" by 7" and an enclosed wood bottom measuring 11.5" by 3"; the bag is 9" high.
We're positive this was intended to have the burlap to the exterior, but with some gentle maneuvering we were able to have the flowers to the exterior, and we love it this way, too!
Super clean, ready to use, or to display. No flaws.
These totes were often used to carry knitting and crocheting crafts in the 60s, and work perfectly for farmer's market shopping, or just as an interesting, one of a kind purse.
The shoes are no longer available; we used them as a prop to show proportion, and because they did match perfectly!
