This pretty little vintage spring dress is in a fresh colorway of turquoise blue with olive green and lavender on a white ground; it is a lightweight semi sheer cotton, possibly a blend, but it has the hand of, and irons like all cotton.
This has flattering raglan cut short sleeves; the bodice has darts in the side seams.
The skirt is nicely double darted in the back, with double side tucks in the front.
Bust: up to 34"
waist: up to 24"
(raglan) sleeve length from neck point to hem: 13"
Length from center back of the neck to the waist: 15"
Length from center back of the neck to the hem: 36"
We just noticed that the hem has been turned up 2 and 1/8", so this could possibly be made longer by that amount, however, we did not remove it to see if there is a faded hemline at that mark, or not. We're leaving it as found for the new owner to decide.
We also found that the cute little collar has been turned under by 1 and 1/8": this is not visible, we just noticed it when we were pressing it after we laundered it. Again, we're leaving as found, as it is adorable the way it is.
There are no labels, it appears to be custom sewn.
Talon metal pull/plastic teeth zipper in left side seam, plus the bodice buttons up the front from the waist.
Has (skinny) belt loops on each side seam at the waist.
Excellent condition; freshly laundered ready to wear with no flaws.
Belt not included.
This charming day dress is perfect to wear to the fresh market, or to family or class reunions this summer, and/or to have lunch with the girls.
