From the era of The Hustle, the 70s, we have this fantastic cobalt blue with bright orange floral print two piece knit casual sportswear dress ensemble of a blouse and matching skirt by Miriam Susskin for Mel Naftal.
The pullover blouse has a front button placket, is long-sleeved, with top-stitching and long collar points (4 inches); some call these "dagger collars" now.
It measures:
38" bust at rest, stretches to 42"
21 and 1/2" long
5 and 1/2" from neck point to shoulder point
22" sleeve length
The skirt has a comfortable easy to wear elasticized waist band that is 1" wide.
The waist is 30" at rest, and stretches to 36"
9" down from the waistband, the hip measures 44" around.
It is 24 and 1/2" long.
The neat thing about these matching ensembles is the versatility they provide; worn together as a dress look, with a wide belt (or not), shirt tucked in (or not), worn with a jacket for a terrific office look (or not) or, of course, worn as separates!
this blue looks great with jeans, the orange and white floral print of course would look AMAZINGly dramatic with a white suit (pants suit, or skirt suit, either one)~ and the skirt is adorable with a white blouse or knit top!
In excellent, freshly laundered condition with no flaws.
Soft smooth polyester knit , easy care wear.
