Here is a very flattering turquoise-y-aqua easy-to-care-for polyester crepe dress from the 1970s.
The skirt has teeny mini pleats (some call these accordion pleats, some call them crystal pleats) and a double turn and stitched "lettuce" hem, which just happens to makes this a GREAT dress to dance in.
This also has sweet little crochet trim around the slash v-neckline.
Flirty full sleeves gathered at the wrist with elasticized finish.
The bodice is super flattering with slender front yokes that have gathering across them for a very pretty fit.
Waist: 20" flat/at rest, stretches up to 30"
Hip: Free (laid flat: 40" and stretches up to 60")
Sleeve: 20.5" (from shoulder point to sleeve hem)
Wrist: 6" at rest, to 8" stretched.
15.25" from center back of the neck to the waist,
22" from waist to hem.
This has a self belt, 3/4" wide by 60" long; we think its even prettier with a contrasting belt ~ like this white one (not included)
The tag has been cut out of this; we included a close-up shot to show the fabric.
This is great for an office to dinner dress, or can easily dress up for cocktail parties, or even for the mother of the bride or groom.
This is in excellent, freshly laundered ready to wear condition. We can find no issues with it at all.
