This classic lightweight transitional season coat is made of a richly textured slubbed linen look shantung in a beautiful neutral tone of creamy off-white, in a hard-to-find little-bit larger size.
It features a wide curved notched collar, with princess darting from the shoulders and pockets.
This has the blue and white union label, indicating manufacture in the 1960s.
Bust: up to 42”
Shoulder point to shoulder point: 15”
Neck point to shoulder point: 5.5”
Sleeve length: 22.5”
This is just back, fresh from the drycleaners, and ready to wear with no flaws.
The fabrication lends this a more dressy angle, it would be considered an evening coat. This would be very nice to wear to a spring wedding that may be a bit brisk or chilly, or it's perfect to wear to an outdoor graduation ceremony, if there's a chill in the air. Or, it looks really terrific worn with jeans and heels, too.
