Here is an excellent 60s menswear coat by the fabulous quality manufacturer, Campus.
Featuring a super cozy faux-fur zip-in lining with quilted satin sleeves, this coat transitions between seasons perfectly: without the zip-in lining it's a terrific fall or spring raincoat , and with the winter lining it'll keep you warm and block the wind superbly in the colder months, PLUS, the pockets are flannel lined for even more warmth!
It truly is, as the label suggests: an "All Weather Coat by Campus" "Water Repellent" "Wash n Wear"
The exterior is a rich glen plaid of dark storm gray and black with a teeny stripe of maroon (nearly impossible to photograph). The (regular)lining is a pristine and gorgeous silvery-creamy-white foulard jacquard.
The sleeves are raglan cut to the back, while set-in in the front; the sleeves are cut in two pieces rather than just one.
We lightened all of our photos to try to show the detail better; this is a very dark colored coat.
Shoulder: 18 1/4"
Neck point to shoulder point: 6"
Sleeve length: 25"
Some would refer to this as "car coat" length.
Remember to allow for a layer of clothing under this: we highly recommend measuring a coat that fits they way you LIKE, and compare to these measurements to insure a good fit for you.
48" chest on a menswear coat typically translates to a contemporary man's size L.
This does have a top under-button, we forgot to photograph it completely buttoned up.
Excellent condition, freshly cleaned, ready to wear (or gift). Perfect classic coat by a quality menswear manufacturer.
