This gorgeous winter coat of jet black wool with matching black mink fur collar and cuffs is by American designer, Frank Gallant.
This is vintage 1960s featuring a small, cozy collar that frames the face beautifully, and 3/4 length sleeves.
The front has an asymmetrical opening, with loop buttonholes that slip over dome shaped buttons Each button is sturdy high gloss enameled (pot) metal, and is set with 12 shimmering black glass rhinestones, each one gold foil backed: of the forty-eight total settings, only 2 are missing.
The silhouette is a straight shift, with the back shoulder in a raglan cut sleeve, while the front has kimono cut sleeves, and gusseted under arms.
