This classic winter coat by Forecaster of Boston is cozy yet sleek with wide set princess seams for fit, and a partial faux belt in back that is slimming.

This is a v neckline with single breasted button front and notched collar; she has padded shoulders.

This is quality made, with the sleeves being cut in two pieces (rather than just one) for a better fit, and the buttons are backed with tiny buttons for a more secure hold.

The front has wide princess seams curving from the arms-eye seam, all the way to the hem, with pockets hidden within that seam on both sides.

The back has a center back seam as well as the wide princess seams, also generating from the arms-eye seams. It has a partial belt at waist (some call them faux belts since they don't go all the way around).

Measurements translate to a contemporary size 12, some consider that a medium, others call it a large. Keep in mind, you may want to wear bulky sweaters or jackets underneath this on a cold winter's day, so allow a bit of room for that.

Waist: 37" (measured 15.5" down from center back of the neck)

back belt: 9.25" x 2.5"

Length: 38" (no kick pleat, no opening at center back hem)

This weighs 3# 1oz (in a box).

Condition: no odors, no rips or tears or torn seams. There is very slight wear right around the sleeve hems which is not readily visible; they are still extremely sturdy, and not "worn out". This is in otherwise remarkable condition.

We have double deep frozen her (to be sure there are no pests) but she has not been dry-cleaned (we do not have a reliable cleaner near us any longer).

Oh, also, most of the images are lightened to show detail better. This is a very rich, deep dark shade of black, which makes it difficult to photograph.
