This adorable short sleeved cotton blouse has little tucks at the waist in both the front and back. These are often referred to as Laura Petrie blouses by boomers, in refernce to Mary Tyler Moore's character on the Dick Van Dyke Show in the 1960s.
This is a fantastic abstract geometric print in rich colors of gold, olive green, brown and sage green (which presents as gray when with the other darker colors) with black detailing.
This sports a kind of fancy scalloped collar rather than just a simple Peter Pan collar, as many of these day blouses had.
Labeled 34, this measures:
38" around the hem
15" shoulder point to shoulder point
21" long from center back of the neck to the hem
9" sleeve length, designed to be folded up in a cuff
This is in excellent condition, freshly laundered and ready to wear.
These were often worn with capri pants, cigarette pants, or full skirts and flats. They can be worn open with a knit top underneath for a different look, and are a super comfortable way to add vintage charm to your wardrobe.
