This pretty striped print blouse is made in a dramatic color combination of black with white and pale yellow with an overall comfortable vintage fade on the 100% Sanforized cotton fabric.
There is a simple black shank button on each cuff, and three on the narrow collar; one on each tip, and one in the center back, which is finished with a point rather than a typical straight edge.
The focal point of this blouse, though, has to be the diagonal set in zipper in the front. It runs 13" from the center front of the neck to under the left arm in the side seam.
The zipper is a metal "Grand" and works perfectly, with no rust or missing teeth (and yes, the lock of the zipper works perfectly, too).
There are two 1/2" tucks at the waist band in the front and back for extra fitting.
Measurements laid flat are:
up to 38" bust,
5" from neck point to shoulder point,
20" from neck point to hem,
14" across the back shoulders, and
22" long sleeves.
This was manufactured in a time when pinked seams were the finish for women's clothing, that, along with the colorway suggest 1940s to 1950s vintage.
Freshly laundered, ready to wear. It does have an overall vintage fade, as mentioned earlier.
