From the land of swaying palm trees comes this incredible batik-look print in soothing tones of olive green, turquoise, navy blue and periwinkle (light purple). Made for Andrade of Honolulu, who was well-known for their quality merchandise, this has their crested fabric label.
There is no fiber label, it feels like 100% smooth cool cotton.
This has a matched front pocket, vertical buttonholes and yoked back with side tucks for a comfortable fit.
42" at the bust
across the back shoulders along the yoke: 16"
from the neck point to the shoulder point: 5.5"
from the center back of the neck to the hem: 26.5" long
Condition: Freshly laundered. We found a lightened spot on the center front near the buttons; it is about 1/2" across: be sure to check all the images, once you know it, you can see it. We also found a mended area on the underside of the 2nd button down from the top: this is not visible when worn.
This is a excellent print, no matter what, and looks terrific worn open with a white camisole or tee underneath and faded blue jeans or shorts. It's perfect for that next tiki party, or your best friend's annual Hawaiian BBQ.
Andrade was an enormous department store in Hawaii for many years, they were known for carrying local manufacturer's lines, as well as mainland lines.
