We love the details on this pretty kitchen apron from the 50s.
First, it is made of a charming novelty print of flowers and leaf fronds in a colorway of red, pink, gray and black on white.
It has a shaped waistband as well as a flared skirt, and features two pockets trimmed in red and black striping, while the body of the skirt is edged in black binding.
3.5” at center of waistband, narrowing to 2.25” at each side
19.75” long from bottom of center of waistband to hem
21" across the skirt portion at top, widening to
40”, then tapering to a curved center hem.
each tie is 36" long.
Condition: fortunately, busy prints like this help to hide stains; we found a pin-head sized spot on the right pocket, and a lighter, larger one near the red hem trim on the left side that measures 1 and 3/4" x 7/8” at it's widest; these are disguised nicely by the print, and not obvious in appearance. We can't see them at all on the full size images, and have added close ups for you to inspect. This has been freshly laundered, and is ready to wear.
