This is a well-proportioned late nineteenth century English pine side table. The relatively thin three board top is reinforced by two sturdy cross members on the underside. It is somewhat stained with some small repairs. The turned legs are nicely rounded at the top block and end in a well-formed tulip foot. With all the scars of decades of purposeful use and hand-polished to a warm glow, this piece is great for use as a server, as a sofa table, or even as an open base for a large screen TV.
England, circa 1880.
