This is a very cool book, I love it!!, "How to Make the Farm Pay or the Farmer's book of Practical Information" by Charles W Dickerman assisted by Hon Charles L Flint and other agricultural writers..this book contains great informative information on agriculture, stock raising, fruit culture, special crops, domestic economy and family medicine...illustrated with 140 engravings...this book is thick, contains 774 pages...not only are the engravings great, displaying all kinds of farm equipment & animals & much more but a lot of these engravings even give the manufacturers names of the machinery such as the Deer cast-steel clipper plow and the Skinner Gang plow shown in photo 4, the Wood's self-rake reaper seen in photo 5 and the National fodder cutter and Excelsior root cutter shown in photo6...also engravings display an array of animals, some that were well-known such as the horse, Draco Prince, shown in photo 7 and the Jersey cow, Lady Milton shown in photo 8...among others named machinery displayed in the book is the Telegraph plow, Collier plow, Collins plow Buckeye mowers, Danver's seed sower, Share's harrow, Knox's horse hoe, Allon's clod crusher...book covers subjects such as plows, tiles, spreaders, racks, shellers, cutters, threshers, mowers, harrows..also includes all kinds of farm animals such as horses, cows, pigs, turkeys, dogs, chickens and much more, even has plans for a farm house and barn...

hard back cover displays a lot of wear as seen in photos, the spine is cracked and the boards are loose but still attached...book is complete and pages are attached...interior pages are nice, the title page displays more soiling than the rest of the pages, displaying minimal age toning and soiling, no tears or creasing noted..book measures 9" X 6"...great book to add to your collection..
